Commercial 

The Commercial element of works is perhaps the most diverse category of work undertaken by MJ Civil.

MJ Civil's light commercial section covers the construction of individual shops, offices and storage / manufacturing facilities up to 2 stories.

Commercial construction greater than 2 stories generally requires the introduction of more specialist construction techniques, through either greater requirements for higher floor loading or specific floor plan / headroom constraints.

In addition to the above, manufacturing or storage facilities that have less than 2 stories, which have one or more of the following, also fall into our Heavy Commercial designation.
  

• Internal overhead crane requirements.
• Subterranean basement levels.
• Deep pits within floor slabs requiring shoring designs.
