New Build Unit Complex - NSW Central Coast

Construction of a five storey residential complex, including penthouse dwellings that terraced up a rock escarpment on the central coast, providing top quality living and an unrestricted outlook.

MJ Civil became involved with this challenging project due to the significant structural modelling requirement necessary to provide a commercially acceptable outcome for the the architect's hybrid design.  The design featured a fully reinforced concrete frame with infill blockwork to the lower parking levels while the upper regions incorporated split level slabs supported on traditional masonry. The complexity in design was compounded by the varying levels of foundation quality as the development terraced up the escarpment.
